Chef Tyler Stone, one of the world's
youngest chefs, brings vitality and new breath to the kitchen. His
desire to encourage kids to eat healthy meals is coupled with his
energy for engaging adults with his suave and reasonable approach
to good food.
Tyler has been cooking for as long as he can remember and now has brought his
recipes forward in his new book The Kid's Cooking. This limited edition
cookbook is packed with scrumptious appetizers like Crispy Shrimp with Mango
Salsa and Vegetable Tian and soups from Gazpacho to Pear, Cucumber, and Citrus.
These selections are rounded out with salads such as Asparagus and Oyster Mushrooms
Salad with Scallops, or Crunch Jicama and Fennel Salad. Main course offerings
include Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf and Eggplant Napoleon. Not to be left thirsty,
Tyler offers drinks including Lychee Green Tea and Watermelon with Mint Syrup.
Finally, desserts as diverse as Blueberry Salzburger and Bread Pudding with Roasted
Cherries and Vanilla Ice Cream tempt the palate.
